Before i write about Berlin i need to write about the Diplom Collection of Walfrido who did a work placement at our studio. The show was on march 15th in Basel and we think his collection was the best of the show – but of course we are fans ;)
His inspiration:
“GLIESE 581
The inhabitants of the newly discovered planet Super Earth appeared to me in a dream. Figures without faces, colourful beings. All they wore was a transparent sheath. It was not a piece of clothing. More like packaging. Like the transparent cellophane used to wrap fresh flowers. I have implemented the details of this dream in my collection. It is the balance between fantasy, reality and life. It is my vision.”
